Adjusting the famous I Have a Dream speech for cats. Many shelters report that black cats are less likely to be adopted than cats of other colors (sometimes, black and white cats have even more trouble).

I have a dream that one day this nation will rise up and live out the true meaning of its creed: "We hold these truths to be self-evident, that all cats are created equal."
I have a dream that one day on the red hills of Georgia, the sons of former feral cats and the sons of former house cats will be able to sit down together at the table of brotherhood.
I have a dream that my four little kittens will one day live in a nation where they will not be judged by the color of their fur but by the content of their character.
I have a dream today!

And when this happens, and when we allow freedom ring, when we let it ring from every village and every hamlet, from every state and every city, we will be able to speed up that day when all of God's kitties, black cats and white cats, Solids and tabbies, torties and tuxedos, will be able to join hands and sing in the words of the old Negro spiritual:
Free at last! Free at last!
