I made some demands of my human yesterday. He was late coming home in the afternoon.
Fortunately, he got me some treats while he was out, so it's not entirely terrible, but it was pretty close. I was meowing at him through the window as he was coming up the stairs.
He was a little late for my dinner, so I made sure he fed me first. It was one of the tasty flavors . I ate while he was putting his groceries away. But I also needed him to clean my litter box, and I told him that after I was done eating. I went into the room with the box, and I jumped up on the toilet. Then he knew what I wanted, so he took out the old smelly stuff to the trash dumbster outside. He even changed the liner this time. He put in a new liner and new litter, and put the box back together. I then used the box.
The truck tomes to pick up the dumbster on Mondays and Thursdays in the morning. The truck just picks it up and puts it back down. I often watch it, since I can see it out the windows from the bedroom. Sometimes I don't watch if my morning nap has started already, though.
