Tuffy really likes these little stuffed toy ducks. He often watches the wild ducks that hang out here in the spring & early summer. About three years ago this Mallard duck had 12 little ducklings and built her nest just across from our lot. Tuffy told me all about it because I was not living here then. Hope there will be more ducklings I can watch this spring.

Tuffy's toy ducks
Yes, mommy gave Tuffy these two toy ducks for his birthday because she knows how Tuffy likes to watch the ducks here in the springtime. We live close to a big irrigation ditch and several ducks hang out there a lot in the spring and early spring. At least one pair of Mallards usually show up every spring.

I usually get duck flavored food for my birthday (because he can't find bluebird flavor
). But last year he tried duck pâté. I took one look and sniff at it, then I looked up at him and asked "Where's breakfast?" He made me a sign for a french

Birthday Duck
We kitties here never had duck pate (sorry mommy's keyboard will not type the French accent marks). We have seen the dry duck & pea kitty food in the pet store but mom never bought it. We really love tuna, sea food, and chicken. None of us will eat beef except Puff. She loves to eat and will eat almost anything. Mommy says the rest of us are too finicky. Our human mom's mother and step dad would often eat duck or a goose at Christmas time but mommy did not live with them so never ate any.

Rubber duckies are pawsome
I think it was Ernie on Sesame Street who used to say: "Rubber ducky your the one". He always had a rubber duck when he took his bath.
