Forms of payment

The first question in this topic is what forms of payment the clinic accepts. Do they accept cash? If so, is there a limit on how much cash they will accept on one visit, or how much change they will return? Do they accept personal checks? If so, any, or only local or semilocal? Do they accept major credit cards like Visa, MasterCard, Discover? What about minor specialty cards like Care Credit? Do they have or can they work out a personal payment plan? Do they bill veterinary insurance, or do they expect the insurance company to reimburse you?
