So today is Black Cat appreciation day.

Black cats can be just as friendly as kitties of other colors. Sometimes even more than other kitties. There were a lot of us black kittties on the farm. Our feral colony started wtih two black cats -- my Mama, who had long hair, and a short-haired black cat, who we think became Smudge's mother and later Parker and Butler's grandmother.

So here are pictures of the black kitties.

In order ... Inky, me, Stripe (he had a thin white stripe down his front), Kiwi, and Mama.

They say Tuesday was national truffles day.

So today is Friday the 13th.

It's not so much that today is unlucky, it's just that the luck is confusing.

I'm back on the farm.
