Great pictures. Thank you Butler Prettycat for sharing. I can see you had some exciting adventures. Your sister Schwarzie makes a very pretty Miss Kitty. It must have been a rough journey keeping up with that covered wagon train my friend. Many years ago mommy's great aunt Vera told her about the hard life her family had traveling by covered wagon in Idaho, Oregon, and Eastern Washington. They finally settled in Chelan, Washington when mommy's grandpa was a teenager and he had 15 brothers and sisters to share the harsh pioneer life with. The Sherwoods were a hardy bunch but mommy is sad she lost touch with all of grandpa's family after he passed away at the VA hospital in Seattle in 1956 and her and her grandma moved from Washington to California in 1957. Mommy carried the Sherwood name until she graduated from High School and then took up her birth name Martin. Mommy and I love to hear stories and see pictures of those days. Take care my friend.
