I saved mommy from a Vicious Asp last night!! She hear the GREAT BATTLE going on and woke up. I told her not to get out of bed because there was a VICIOUS ASP on the floor!! She didn't believe me and got up and turned the light on.
Mom: that is a shoelace Seshat
I said NO MOM there was a Vicious ASP, it must have slithered away.
mom: shoelace Seshat
I replied ASP
Mom: whatever
I said: GODDESS takes the win with VICIOUS ASP!!!
you can CLEARLY see it was a VICIOUS ASP and not the shoelace mommy said it was!!!

shoelaces and serpents
I like to play with shoelases. My human has seen a few snaeks when he's been on the farm. Some of them aren't much biggger than shoelaces. Another one he saw, well Kitty saw it first -- it was before I was born, and I don't know if my mother was around. Kitty was staring over human's shoulder and saw what we think was a blue racer -- it wagged its tail against a bag and disappeared before they could see it again. If you want to see what they look like, here's a link to a picture of one.
The next night, there was a mouse in the livingroom, and Kitty couldn't catch it. They should have let the shed cats take care of him.
