Happy Pi Day! Today is 3/14/15, or in math terms, 3.1415. So who is going to celebrate with some pie? Mom might later. She's going out to eat in a bit with her boyfriend, so we'll see if she has room for pie later. In other news, thankfully the weather is warming up some and instead of snow we're just getting rain. Mom's not crazy about the rain, but she prefers it to snow. And with the warmer temps, I'm spending a little more time outside again.

It's been a while, I know. Mom's just been really busy lately. She finished reading through her short story collection and is working on figuring out how she needs to format it for publishing on Amazon, and trying to come up with a book design. Then she can get back to finishing the book she's been working on and hopefully give the cat she put in it more to do. Meanwhile, we're all trying to stay warm, which means I'm spending more time inside. Thankfully this winter hasn't been too bad so far here; certainly not like last year. But we still can't wait for spring.

Hi all! Nice to see a new, permanent site Things are going good around here, though they have been rather busy lately what with Christmas coming up and all. And I've been spending a bit more time inside now that the weather's getting chillier. Mom hasn't worked on her book in a while. Shame, Mom! But she has started working on getting a short story collection together to put out.

Mom's been a bit busy lately, so she's not had time to post updates for me. She did write a little more on her book the other day, expanding a little on the scene with the cat that she finally put in it. Hopefully she can work on it more soon, and give the cat a bigger role. Things are also going well for her with her new guy. They really seem to like each other, and I kinda like him, too - he seems to be treating Mom well so far, and he loves cats. What's not to like?

Well, Mom's not too happy with me right now. I done went and lost the new collar she bought me the other week. So now she has to get me another one again. She doesn't know if I'm somehow getting caught on something and that's how I'm losing it, or if someone might be taking it off me. Of course, I can't really tell her, now can I?

Mom's been kinda busy the last few days, so we haven't really had much to post about on here. Mom's been using her new Wii Fit thingy a bit the last couple weeks, trying to get some exercising in to try to lose some weight. It says she's lost about 4 pounds so far, but she's not sure how accurate it is. She also actually did a little writing yesterday in her book for a change. She did 200 words, and stopped right after she stuck a cat in it! Really, Mom? You finally put a cat in it and stop there? Couldn't you have kept going with it? She says she'll try to get back to it asap.

Mom made a blog post earlier sharing a funny story about something she and her mom saw while running errands this morning.
